Corey Kent performed hits like "Wild As Her" that got him on the country music map.

Breakout star Corey Kent performed in Las Vegas during Coyote Country’s Free Listener Appreciation Show on Monday night.

Kent performed smash hits like “Wild As Her,” “Rust,” and his new radio single “This Heart,” during his show. People danced and sang their hearts out as Kent performed an acoustic set.

Before the show, people were able to meet Kent backstage. Fans lined up and told him their favorite songs. We had many major fans attend the show, so it felt like a reunion in the best way.

During the show, Kent talked about how he filmed a music video in Las Vegas during last year’s NFR.

“I shot a music video right here in Las Vegas the last time I was here, last year at the finals rodeo. I didn’t realize it could get so cold in the desert. It was like at 4 o’clock in the morning in the middle of nowhere, freezing my ass off. We got a cool music video out and this one is called ‘This Heart.'”

He performed with his signature black bandana, which other attendees also wore.

Corey Kent Comes From Humble Beginnings

Kent is from Bixby, Oklahoma, and is now based in Dallas. In fact, before he broke in the music industry, Kent joined a paving crew to pay the bills. But he refused to quit music and kept on pushing toward his passion.

“The 2022 hit single “Wild As Her” proved he was right to never give in, becoming a Platinum-certified Number One at country radio and the lead single off his major label album debut, Blacktop, propelling the star to 750 million career streams and ones-to-watch accolades from CMT Listen Up, Opry Next Stage and more,” Kent’s biography states.

Since his smash hit, he has toured with Jason Aldean, Ashley McBryde and others. Z

The black bandana he wears represents the battles he has endured and the success on the other side. Thank you, Kent and his team for giving us a wonderful performance. And thank you to our Coyote Country family for spending Monday nights with us.
