Taylor Swift Is Officially A Billionaire
Taylor Swift is officially a billionaire. The singer-songwriter made Forbes‘ 2024 list of “New Billionaires” of the year, joining NBA legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson and French fashion designer Christian Louboutin.
The publication attributes most of her wealth to her record-breaking five-continent Eras Tour. It is the first tour to surpass $1 billion in revenue. The 34-year-old pop star amassed an estimated $1.1 billion fortune based on earnings from the blockbuster tour, the value of her music catalog, and her real estate portfolio. Swift is the first musician to hit ten-figure status solely based on her songs and performances.
Swift owns eight properties. Her west village apartment is listed for $17.9 million or available to rent for $45,000 a month. As for her Tribeca penthouse, which was two that she combined into one, her friend Sophie Turner has been living there since her divorce with Joe Jonas. She bought another penthouse next door to expand for an additional three bedrooms. She owns an estate in Rhode Island, right on the beach.
Moving to the west coast, Swift has two Beverly Hills properties. The first is another massive estate that is being renovated, while the other property she sold for $2.65 million in September 2023. Then, for her southern properties, Swift has a massive estate in Nashville, as well as a penthouse — her first real estate purchase.

Billionaire Club
Rihanna entered the billionaire club in 2021, but not due to her music. Most of her wealth was acquired from her cosmetics company, Fenty Beauty, and from her Savage x Fenty memberships. Her Fenty Beauty fortune is valued at an estimated $1.4 billion, and she owns 50% of it. Meanwhile, Savage x Fenty rakes in about $270 million, and the remainder of her earnings stem from her career as a chart-topping musician and actress.
