Dear Las Vegas,
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to be a small part of your mornings the past four years! I can’t believe that it has been four whole years since Jeff flew to Las Vegas from Cleveland and I walked down the hall at Beasley Media Group, to be put in an arranged marriage with each other and with you, Coyote Country. (Forever thankful for Shawn Stevens for making it all happen)
We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you all. We wouldn’t get to do what we love each and every day if it weren’t for you listening. So thank YOU for the past four years.
How does it feel like yesterday, but also feel like we have known each other forever?
We have gotten to do some incredible things together. Interviews with amazing artists, given so many tickets away and seen so many shows together. Broadcast live from the Bahamas and Las Vegas Motor Speedway… but some of our most favorite things, are when we get to give back to the city we love! We have packed lunches at Three Square, and filled up a bus with baby items to give back to our military families at Opportunity Village. Given a truck away, married 5 couples on leap day, got to read to our your kids, virtually, during the pandemic. Hell, we got through the pandemic together! Sent listeners to Bahamas, to Disney, to the ACM’s, and Stage Coach. Hosted red carpets, and gone to show premiers! Jeff and I have had memories with you that will last an entire lifetime, Las Vegas.
We have grown so much over the last four years as well. We have both bought our forever homes, and took home our first pup. We both became an aunt and an uncle when our sisters had babies. Jeff met Emily and they got engaged! Ya’ll have been there since their day one! My family and I welcomed baby Roman and you have helped me navigate becoming a mom of two… We have done all of that and more with you Las Vegas and have been blessed to do so!
We just hope we are blessed enough to look back at these last four years and say ‘that was just the beginning.’
