It’s been a great run but all great things must come to an end. Now, we’re approaching the end of the road for Della’s Kitchen, the popular breakfast spot at Delano Las Vegas will be closing at the end of October. October 30 reportedly will be the restaurant’s final day.
Popular Breakfast And Lunch Joint Closing On The Las Vegas Strip
Las Vegas is changing. We saw The Tropicana be brought down and restaurants seem to be coming and going. For every one that leaves, there’s a new restaurant that opens. Recently, Mark Wahlberg opened a Mexican restaurant in Vegas, and it looks amazing! You can read more about Flecha Cantina here. It sounds like they have amazing dishes on that menu and a ton of Pork Belly options which certainly got my attention. That’s going to be a stop I have to make soon. It’s calling my name. Soon, Norms Diner will be opening a location in Sin City, and that’s going to be a big deal. It will fit in perfectly. That architecture will fit in, and the menu will be appreciated by residents and tourists alike.
The restaurant opens at 7 am Saturday through Wednesday and serves up delicious breakfast and lunch options through the early afternoon. Popular menu items in the morning include fried chicken over Belgian-style waffles, eggs and avocado, and more. Then they also offer up quality lunch dishes like beef tenderloin, sandwiches, and salads.
According to Eater, Della’s Kitchen opened in September 2014 along with the Delano which replaced THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. There is still no word on what the site will be used for in the future, but hopefully it’s something exciting. There are rumors out there that it’s being rebranded into a W Hotel which would be really cool! I’ve stayed at a W in Los Angeles and it was one of the better stays I’ve ever had. The room was comfortable and the amenities were unbelievable. This would be a major win for Las Vegas if this rumor is true.
Della’s isn’t the only restaurant leaving The Strip. Gabi Boutique donut shop also recently closed down and that happened at the beginning of October, per Casino.org. Did you ever eat at Della’s? What did you think?
