Shania Twain posted video clips and photos of her visiting Mattel and getting her own Barbie, complete with the costume inspired by her "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" outfit. The Barbie features Twain with golden blonde hair, just like Barbie.

In a video clip she posted on Instagram, she holds her likeness Barbie and says, "That is the original 'Man, I Feel Like A Woman' outfit, and the hair is just me still playing Barbie with myself. The story carries on, and it's really beautiful that we can evolve."

What Shania Posted

Shania captioned the post, "Ladies and gentlemen... HER (heart emoji): I am honored to be recognized as a Barbie role model - I have my own one-of-a-kind Barbie doll!! Pinch me!! All I've wanted to do my whole life is tell stories of empowerment, independence, and self-expression through my songwriting; getting to do that and inspire women and girls along the way is the dream... everything else is a beautiful bonus! It means a lot to expand my responsibility as a role model into the Barbie world; thank you, @barbie and Mattel, for creating this reflection of me. I love her!! #Barbie #Barbie65."

Shania On Gosling

Recently, Twain also weighed in on the Barbie Oscar buzz, particularly about Ryan Gosling, who received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his portrayal of Ken. Gosling stood up for his coworkers, director/writer Greta Gerwig and producer/star Margot Robbie, saying they also should have been Oscar nominees. The two women weren't nominated in their respective Best Director and Best Actress categories.

Gosling told People that "There is no Ken without Barbie." He added, "There is no Barbie movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, the two people most responsible for this history-making, globally celebrated film. No recognition would be possible for anyone on the film without their talent, grit, and genius."

Shania posted his comments and a photo of the actor on her Insta Stories and wrote, quoting some of her own song lyrics, "So, you're a Ken doll...that don't impress me much. But of course, Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera do. Well said! Let's go, Barbies!"

As we kick off Women's Month (March), we wanted to focus on five songs that empower women in country music and all walks of life.

From Lady A to Carrie Underwood, Reba, and the ultimate women's anthem from Shania, we count down what we believe are five of the top songs about powerful women played put in a country song.

5 - "Like A Lady" - Lady A - 2021

It's a perfect song for a lady making her own rules for going out in town. The song's chorus includes the lyrics, "'Cause I feel like a lady / Sippin' on tequila with my Levi's on / A lady / Singin' to the music playin' all night long / Yeah, I'm feeling right, I'm living my life, I do what I like / 'Cause I feel like a lady, a lady."

4 - "Girl" - Maren Morris - 2019

From the CMA's Album of the Year (2019) of the same name. The song's chorus includes the lyrics, "What you feel is natural / But I don't wanna feel this anymore / Pick yourself up off the kitchen floor / What you waitin' for? / Girl, won't you stop your cryin'? / I know that you're tryin' / Everything's gonna be okay / Baby girl, don't you hang your head low / Don't you lose your halo / Everyone's gonna be okay / Baby girl."

3 - "The Champion" - Carrie Underwood - 2018

What a powerful song. It was recorded to serve as an opening theme for NBC Sports' Super Bowl LII television broadcast. It was also used for the 2018 Summer Olympics. Carrie recorded the song with Ludacris. The chorus includes the lyrics, "I am invincible, unbreakable / Unstoppable, unshakeable / They knock me down, I get up again / I am the champion, you're gon' know my name / You can't hurt me now, I can't feel the pain / I was made for this, yeah, I was born to win / I am the champion."

2 - "I'm A Survivor" - Reba McEntire - 2001

Used as the theme song for Reba's CW sitcom, Reba, this song sings of a woman overcoming odds to make it on her own. The chorus includes the lyrics, "The baby girl without a chance / A victim of circumstance / The one who ought a give up, but she's just / Too hard-headed! / A single mom who works two jobs / Who loves her kids and never stops / With gentle hands and a heart of a fighter / I'm a survivor."

1 - "Man! I Feel Like A Woman" - Shania Twain - 1997

"Let's Go girls!" This is the ultimate anthem to empower women. The chorus includes the lyrics, "Oh, oh, oh, go totally crazy, forget I'm a lady / Men's shirts, short skirts / Oh, oh, oh, really go wild, yeah, doin' it in style / Oh, oh, oh, get in the action, feel the attraction / Color my hair, do what I dare / Oh, oh, oh, I wanna be free, yeah, to feel the way I feel / Man, I feel like a woman (hey!)."
