Carrie Underwood has been playing shows in Las Vegas and posted a couple of slides on her Instagram Stories about missing her sons while they stayed home in Nashville to go to school.

In the first slide posted on Insta Stories, Carrie shared a black and white photo of her sons Isaiah and Jacob and her husband, Mike Fisher. She wrote over the image, "Right now, I'd do anything to hold them..." In the second slide, she posted a video clip of one of her sons riding a horse. She captioned it, "Take me home, country roads..."

In a later post to Insta stories, Underwood posted a photo of the Nevada desert with a bright blue sky. She wrote, "Exploring..." In another song, she snapped a picture of a snake and wrote, "Making new friends."

Carrie continues her Las Vegas residency at Resorts World through this weekend. She heads back to Vegas in November for one show (11/29) and then returns for performances during the first couple weeks of December.

Underwood chatted with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush recently on The Today Show and touched on something all parents of school kids deal with: kids and technology.

Carrie admitted that it was a "struggle," adding that she is hoping to put off getting her kids their own cell phones "as long as possible." Underwood told the hosts that her kids's school near Nashville is dealing with many parents having the same issue.

Carrie said, "There's been a whole grassroots initiative within their school, and a bunch of parents getting together and discussing how we can keep our kids kind of away from technology, especially social media and stuff like that, as long as possible."

Underwood also chatted about just how normal her life with her husband, Mike Fisher, and her two sons are. She noted that her husband usually takes the kids to school in the morning, and the "second they leave," she works around the house, vacuuming and cleaning their rooms. She then noted that she cleans her room, works out, and works in her garden.

Carrie Underwood turns the big 4-0 today (3/10) as she continues the 2023 leg of her "Denim & Rhinestones Tour." While she has a day off on her birthday, she is back on stage at a concert in Glendale, Arizona, tomorrow night (3/11).

Carrie has created her own music legacy already in country music in the last 15 years and is the most-awarded star in country music. She was most recently nominated for a 2023 CMT Music Award for Video of the Year for her video "Hate My Heart." She has won the CMT's top award (Video of the Year) a total of ten times through the years and is the show's top winner with a total of 23 wins.

As we celebrate all things Underwood on her big day, we take a look at 22 of what we believe are her best songs ranked.
