Join The VGK Legacy: Golden Knights Holding Auditions For 2023-24 Ice Crew
The Vegas Golden Knights might be fresh off their Stanley Cup Championship, but the team is already preparing to secure their crew for the 2023-24 season, starting with VGK ice crew auditions!
The Vegas Golden Knights ice crew, known as the Knight Guard, is an integral part of the teams performance, both on and off the ice. The VGS’ Knight Guard ice crew focuses on ice maintenance during the games (including playoffs), as well as serving as brand ambassadors for both the Vegas Golden Knights and Henderson Silver Knights.
According to News 3, “The team announced that they would be hosting their 2023-24 Knight Guard auditions on Sunday, June 25 at 4 pm inside City National Arena. Those interested in attending the auditions will need to apply online before 5 pm on Friday, June 23.”
There are several pieces of information interested parties should know before VGK ice crew auditions. Some include:
- The schedule is demanding but the job is a part-time position.
- Knights Guard typically practice on Sundays, however this is subject to change based on the NHL and AHL game schedule.
- Each team member must be available for 70% of VGK and HSK home games, including Playoffs.
- You must be at least 18 years old as of June 25, 2023 and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate to advanced skating skills a requirement.
- Must reside in the Las Vegas metro area by August 15, 2022, have a government-issued ID, and have a reliable means of transportation.
- All NEW candidates must be available on June 26 or 27, 2023 for onboarding. This will take place at CNA and will be a 30-40 minute process.
- All candidates must be available August 2, 2023 7:30-10:30pm for training camp.
- All candidates must be available to begin rehearsals the week of August 6 and be available for 70% of VGK and Hsk home games through the end of the NHL season, including Playoffs.
