When HARDY and Lainey's Wilson duet "Wait In The Truck" hit number one on the country charts this week, it scored a record for Lainey, who has had two consecutive No. 1 hits within three weeks, breaking the record for the shortest gap between top-charting songs on US Country Radio. Her song "Heart Like A Truck" was the first of the two songs to hit number one.

HARDY said in a statement when the duet struck number one, "I'm just so happy a song like this still has a place in country music. Thanks to everyone involved for taking this song to the top and for believing in this one."

Wilson said, "I'm so honored HARDY asked me to join him on a song that's had an impact on so many people and shed light on a topic a lot of folks are scared to talk about. He is one of the most brilliant songwriters I've ever met and puts on one heck of a show. I can't wait to be back out on the road together this fall!"

"Wait In The Truck" earned three nominations at the 2023 ACM Awards for Song Of The Year, Music Event Of The Year, and Visual Media Of The Year. The song was also Named one of the Best Songs of 2022 by the Los Angeles Times, Billboard, American Songwriter, and more.

Wilson recently talked about knowing Luke Combs before they were famous. She's opening stadium dates for him on tour this spring. Wilson said in a recent interview, "He used to come over to my camper trailer, and we'd write songs, and he'd drink my cold drinks and eat my snacks, and now he invited me on the road with him. He just believed in me from the beginning, and he put his money where his mouth is."

Lainey also touched on playing a part in the super-popular Yellowstone TV series. She noted of the role, "I got to be myself playing the role of Abby. I got to wear bell bottoms and sing my own songs, so I got to play with a little salt and pepper. I had a kissing scene; I thought I was gonna end up on the prayer list back home! So I had to step out of my comfort zone. It was such a cool learning experience."
