The last time Shania Twain played Nashville was in the summer of 2015, and she performed at the Bridgestone Arena. Shania just announced that eight years later, she will perform in the Music City in the summer of 2023 at Geodis Park.

She posted to Instagram, "There's been a few rumours in the press about what's coming next from me - It's been fun to watch. Well, I am here to officially confirm ONE of those rumours… NASHVILLE, won't you wake up dreaming with me, @kelseaballerini, and @breland at @geodispark on June 7th, 2023?? Tickets are on sale this Friday."

Fans can't wait, with one responding, "Already packing my suitcases- I'm going places." Another fan wrote, "Shania, after getting Younger?" One more fan exclaimed, "SEE YOU THERE!!!!"

Breland was beside himself with the announcement as he posted on his Instagram, "I'M OPENING FOR SHANIA TWAIN (mind-blowing emojis) June 7th will be a dream come true at @geodispark with @shaniatwain and @kelseaballerini I was talking to @tybentli just last month about how and why Shania inspires me…this is an honor! Tickets are on sale Friday."

Shania responded, "Let's go, Breland!!"

Kelsea Ballerini has not yet reacted on her social media about the news. Still, as we wrote back in August, she spent some quality time with Twain after paying tribute to her at the 2022 ACM Honors in Nashville, where she wore Shania's 1999 Grammy dress.

Ballerini dedicated her performance at the ACM Honors to her musical hero Shania Twain. Donning that famous dress, she walked the red carpet with Twain heading into the ceremony. Shania was honored with the Poet's Award.

A rep for Ballerini said on the red carpet, "Kelsea reached out, and Shania was more than happy to lend her the dress and thought it [was] really fun."

Shania changed the face of country music in the late 1990s and her influence is still felt today as many country superstars like Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, Taylor Swift, and more cite her as a major influence.

To celebrate all things, Shania, we're counting down her 13 finest songs that we just can't get out of our heads.
