Not Everyone Loves Change to ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Puzzleboard
Wheel of Fortune kicked off its 40th season this week with a change to the puzzleboard.
Back in the 1900s, Vanna White used to physically turn the letters.
About 20 years ago, that changed to Vanna simply touching the letters with touchscreen technology.
Now, the board has been updated again.
Instead of 52 individual monitors, the board is a single flat LED screen that uses motion detectors.
All Vanna has to do now is ‘break the plane’ in front of each letter.
Fans took to social media to express their displeasure.
One person wrote, am I the only one who thinks it looks cheap?
Another person wrote, it just feels a little bit odd and cold.
What did you think of the change? What is your favorite game show?
