Peeps for my Peeps!
Here's something we didn't know we needed! Peeps on demand.
I don't know about you, but for me, it's just not Easter without the sugary sweet goodness of Peeps. Doesn't matter the color, I'm just a fan. And this year, the fine folks at MyPeeps have made it easy create and to share our personal Peeps passion.
For the very first time, you can customize your Peeps creations to reflect your own favorite colors and flavors. First, you get to pick your favorite chick (pink, yellow, blue), then you'll pick a chocolatey dip (dark, milk, white) and finally, you get to pick a sweet dipping (confetti sprinkles, toasted coconut, nonpareil sprinkles, chocolate chips, crushed pretzel or crushed cookie). Sweet! You can get started HERE.
After each order is complete, the company will box them up and ship them right to your doorstep.
A little history about Peeps
The squishy, sweet, marshmallow treats were first introduced in 1953 by Just Born Inc., a family owned company founded by confectioner, Sam Born.
Here are some more fun facts from the peeps behind Peeps:
- You would need about 7,000 Peeps Bunnies stacked toe to ear to reach the top of the Empire State Building,
- More than 87 million Peeps to stretch continuously from New York City to Los Angeles
- It would take about 430 million Peeps bunnies to circle the moon
- It would take about 127 quadrillion Peeps to fill the Grand Canyon
- Yellow Peeps are the biggest seller, followed by pink, then blue
- Every year, about 2 billion Peeps candies are produced. That’s enough to circle the earth two and a half times.
