Chris Young is thrilled with the Academy of Country Music Awards nominations, as he leads with the most nominations with seven, including the coveted Album of the Year (Artist and Producer – Famous Friends), and Single of the Year categories (Artist and Producer – “Famous Friends”).
Young is also up for Music Event of the Year (Artist and Producer) and Video of the Year, sharing three of the nominations with friend and collaborator, Kane Brown, for their "Famous Friends."
Chris posted to Instagram when he got the news, "7 NOMINATIONS!!!! Are y’all serious??? @acmawards THANK YOU and see you in VEGAS! #LUCKYNUMBER7 @kanebrown_music."
His buddy Kane responded, saying, "Well GOT damn boy! Hell ya!"
