Jeff & Aimee Surprise Brett Young On The Air
He thought this would just be a normal interview, oh boy it wasn’t!
Brett Young is a hit-song monster. His sophomore album, Ticket To L.A., debuted atop the country billboard chart.
He has notched SEVEN consecutive GOLD and PLATINUM-certified No. 1 hits including: “In Case You Didn’t Know” (5X PLATINUM), “Mercy” (3X PLATINUM), “Sleep Without You” (PLATINUM) “Like I Loved You” (PLATINUM), “Here Tonight” (PLATINUM), “Catch” (PLATINUM) and “Lady” (PLATINUM).
On top of all of the music success he’s had, some people don’t know that he is quite the athlete as well. He played college baseball at Ole Miss for one season following that up with one season at Irvine Valley before moving to Fresno. Unfortunately, his career was cut short after an elbow injury and Tommy John surgery.
After his baseball hopes and dreams were ended, he hoped to start a career in music and boy are we lucky for that!
During what Brett thought was going to be a routine interview with Jeff & Aimee In The Morning, he was shocked and surprised to field questions from a very special guest that was in the Coyote Country studios.

Father of two girls Presley and Rowan with wife Taylor, Young released a children’s book called LOVE YOU, LITTLE LADY via Thomas Nelson (an imprint of HarperCollins) that was Inspired by the lyrics of his song “Lady.”
He released a Christmas album, BRETT YOUNG AND FRIENDS SING THE CHRISTMAS CLASSICS featuring an all-star lineup including Boyz II Men, Chris Tomlin, Colbie Caillat, Dann Huff, Darius Rucker, Gavin DeGraw and Maddie & Tae.
Young hosted his first-ever CALIVILLE WEEKEND in Palm Springs over Labor Day Weekend 2021, a resort takeover he curated with performances by Chase Rice, Maddie & Tae, Devin Dawson, Seaforth, Filmore and more. Caliville is his lifestyle brand he launched in partnership with Kohl’s.
