Thank You Mom, A Letter From Your Son, Jeff
I took some time to write out my thoughts about my mom for our 27th Mother’s Day together.
Mom,
I’ve been blessed with so many amazing things in my life and without you, none of these blessings would have happened. You don’t get enough credit, honestly. Moms of babies and toddlers, they deserve all of the credit in the world, but what happens after you kids grow up? You’re still a mom but just with a different daily goal, to see your kids become strong and independent adults.
You once said, “I’m so proud of both of my kids that they are able to pursue a career in what they love and able to stand on their own two feet while doing it.” You’re proud of us, yes, but we are grateful for you! We couldn’t have done this without YOU.
This year, you became a grandmother (WOW that’s crazy to write). I couldn’t think of a better grandparent combo than you and Dad. That is one lucky baby to have the both of you loving and supporting him. Yet another change in your life that you’ve embraced head-on.
I can’t thank you enough for your love and support surrounding me and Emily’s upcoming wedding! You’re so creative and good at all things planning, to have you part of this process means so much to the both of us.
It’s been an exciting couple years (even during a pandemic) and I can’t wait to come see you soon.
Love you so much,
Jeffrey Boy
