U.S. Census: Six States Gain Congressional Seats, Seven States Lose One
What states gained seats? All of this based upon the 2020 Census results.
Texas picked up two seats, Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina and Oregon all picked up one seat.
Some states were not as lucky however. Seven states, including California, lost seats due to the 2020 Census results. New York, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia also will lose a seat ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
