Hats Off: Young Couple Leaves College Server A $500 Tip
Jeff & Aimee are giving a hats off to a couple in South Carolina!
Savannah Stoneman is a student at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, and she received a $500 tip from a young couple, according to ABC 15.
The couple’s gift came after they noticed Stoneman’s wrist tattoo that’s dedicated to her father’s handwritten letter from when he was deployed in Iraq.
Along with the generous gift, the couple wrote “get something that makes you happy” at the bottom of the receipt.
That act of kindness didn’t go unnoticed for Stoneman.
“I’m only able to work at Outback two days a week, that one tip from them is more than I’m making in an entire week right now. It just blows my mind that someone could be so generous to a complete stranger,” said Stoneman in an ABC 15 interview. “I just want to thank them from the bottom of my heart and let them know that their kind act has relieved so much stress I’ve been dealing with.
