Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' "Old Town Road" continues to get attention after winning a CMA Award last week (11/13) for Vocal Collaboration and now the news that the song is nominated for a Grammy for the all-genre Record of the Year.

Keith Urban knew the song was a gem from the moment he heard it. As a matter of fact, shortly after it came out, Keith paid tribute to it by covering the song during one of his popular YouTube jams.

Urban told us of the song, "I loved the song and I loved that it was non categorizing, there's something really appealing about that, because no matter what it is, it's super popular. You know, speaking to a lot of people and I love anything that pulls styles together in a way that becomes its own little original entity. And it's completely non categorized. And yet everybody can relate to it."

Keith also performed the song with Billy Ray and Lil Nas X at CMA Fest in June in Nashville.
