A documentary film, VALIANT, that highlights the Vegas Golden Knights remarkable first season and Stanley Cup run will be premiered for fans attending the Golden Knights vs Calgary Flames game on November 17 at T-Mobile Arena. The viewing will begin at 1:30 p.m. and be followed by a special question and answer session with the VALIANT production team and those in the film. You must have a ticket for the hockey game to attend the screening.
The documentary begins by chronicling the creation of the NHL's 31st team, the expansion Golden Knights. It features Bill Foley being awarded the franchise and the selections of the players for that first team. The film also highlights how the team brought Las Vegas together following the mass shooting on October 1, 2017. VALIANT features franchise owner Bill Foley, General Manager, George McPhee, Golden Knights players: Marc-Andre Fleury, William Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, Deryk Engelland, Ryan Reaves, and entertainers Wayne Newton and Lil Jon, along with Las Vegas residents, law officers and first responders to the tragedy.
