Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil' Nas X's "Old Town Road" still sits at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at 18 weeks and running.

Billy Ray spoke to us exclusively about the song's success. "It didn't matter about the country charts, it went straight to number one and never looked back. I mean, it's 18 weeks later and I'm as surprised as you are to say it's still sitting there at number one and I'm just very grateful, thankful and humbled to be in this moment."

He continued, recalling a letter from a legend saying, "Going back to the letter that Johnny Cash wrote me in 1992 (during the 'Achy Breaky Heart' fame) where he said, 'It's good to be reminded that all things that are good come from all mighty God above.' And so I count this as a blessing that has come into my life and I do give all the glory and credit to almighty God."

Cyrus posted to Instagram a day ago, "INCREDIBLE. Thank YOU all so much. This is absolute magic. 18 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! #OldTownRoad @lilnasx @youngkio @dopebyaccident."

Billy Ray is currently working with country artist Johnny McGuire. They have a duet called "Chevys and Fords" that is being released as a single.
