The HighWomen, consisting of Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, singer-songwriter Natalie Hemby and Amanda Shires, have released their first single to radio and it's called "Redesigning Women."
Maren posted to Instagram late last night (7/18), "We are The Highwomen. Our first single “Redesigning Women” is out now."
Brandi posted a video clip of the women celebrating the new music along with country music icons Tanya Tucker and Wynonna Judd. She wrote, "No @thetanyatucker isn’t burnin’ her bra tomorrow but the Highwomen definitely ARE coming out tomorrow! I hope you’re ready for all this! #redesigningwomen @thehighwomen @wruckestrike @marenmorris @amandapearlshires."
Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of.
