But don't watch it if you haven't seen Avengers: Endgame yet.

The new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home just dropped; when the first one was released a few months ago, fans complained that its very existance was a spoiler for Avengers: Endgame, as, Spider-Man was among the heroes who disappeared at the end of 2018's Avengers: Infinity War as a result of the "Thanos snap." Additonally, Nick Fury, another victim of the "Snap," was in that trailer.

Some fans specutlated that the film might take place before the Avengers: Infinity War film. But didn anyone really believe that they were going to kill Spider-Man?

So, anyway, the trailer begins with Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man (played by Tom Holland) still mourning over the death of his mentor, Tony Stark, aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) who (SPOILER ALERT!) did actually die at the end of Infinity War.  And, as we saw in the previous trailer, he goes on a school trip to Europe, where he meets Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who he'd been avoiding. And the adventures begin. Watch the trailer below.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is in theaters July 2.

Brian has been working in pop culture and media for about three decades: he’s worked at MTV, VH1, SiriusXM, CBS and Loudwire. Besides working as a writer and an editor-in-chief, he’s also appeared on air as a pundit, guested on radio shows and hosted podcasts. Over the years, he’s interviewed the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, the members of U2, Beyonce, Pink, Usher, Stevie Nicks, Lorde… and is grateful to have had the chance to interview Joe Strummer of the Clash and Tom Petty.
