Over the weekend, Amy Grant's dad passed away in Nashville.
According to the Tennessean, Dr. Burton Grant passed on around noon on Saturday afternoon.
At the time of his death, he was 86 years old.
Grant also confirmed the news on Facebook.
In a tribute to her father, Grant admitted that taking her dad home has been a ten year journey, and the family has been by his side every step of the way.
In the past, Amy has been open about her father suffering from dementia. A few years ago, she revealed her dad no longer remembered her.
