Beasley Best Community Of Caring: Saluting Our Veterans Fueled By Southwest Gas
About
Beasley Media Group’s Community of Caring Initiative: Saluting Our Veterans
Beasley Media Group has an ongoing commitment to making a difference in the local communities we serve; this has been the foundation upon which the company was built back in 1961 when George Beasley purchased his first radio station in North Carolina. We proudly continue that tradition today.
During November, Southwest Gas proudly observes National Veterans and Military Families Month. Military veterans have courageously served this country, protecting the freedoms, rights, and lives of its citizens and those abroad. Integral to their success are the families of veterans who have provided unwavering support while their loved ones answer the call of duty.
This observance serves as a reminder of the innumerable sacrifices veterans and their families have made to ensure that we continue to enjoy the freedoms we have as a nation. At Southwest Gas, we are proud to employ more than 100 veterans and express our deep gratitude for their service, bravery, and resilience.
Through Company-sponsored events, the Supplier Diversity Program, community partnerships, and its Employee Resource Group (ERG) for military veterans, STARS, Southwest Gas offers opportunities to recognize, appreciate and support its veteran employees, and minority-owned business partners.
