When it comes to some great Country music, Zac Brown Band does it up right. Zac Brown Band has been making their brand of country music for several years now and has released seven albums to date. The band is known for their intense live shows, and frontman Zac Brown never disappoints a cheering crowd.
The group consists of Zac and eight band members. They just added their first female band member Caroline Jones in 2021. Each group member plays multiple instruments, and Jones plays guitar, keyboards, harmonica, and vocals.
The group has won multiple awards since striking country music. In 2010, they won their first Grammy Award for the all-genre Best New Artist. They would win two more Grammy awards in 2011 for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for “As She’s Walking Away” (featuring Alan Jackson) and For Best Country Album for Uncaged in 2013.
Known for their shows, the band has done a significant tour every year since 2012 except for 2020 during the pandemic. They are currently touring on their 2023 “From The Fire Tour.”
In June 2022, the band re-released their 2021 The Comeback album with a bonus remix of the song featuring guest vocals from Blake Shelton.
We all remember their iconic track though, right? The one that put them on the map. Their debut single in 2008, “Chicken Friend,” which has been certified six times platinum, is probably still played at every Country-lovers backyard party.
