A school shooting killed three children and three adults at a private Christian school in Nashville this morning (3/27). According to CNN, the shooter, who has not been identified, entered the Covenant School via a side door and was armed with at least two assault rifles and a handgun. The female shooter was 28 and was killed by Nashville police. Metro Nashville Police spokesperson Don Aaron said in a press conference that she fired multiple shots on the first and second floors of the school.

Within an hour of the shooting, country stars and other celebrities had already started posting, offering comfort. Carly Pearce and LeAnn Rimes were among the first in country music to post. We gathered some posts on Twitter, with more expected to come throughout the day.
