Two people sitting in pub at bar counter and drinking craft green traditional beer, cider. Selective focus. Blurred.

Las Vegas doesn’t shy away from its reputation of being the party capital of the world! We’re known for being a mecca of entertainment. Our nightlife is famous across the globe and we definitely know how to throw a proper celebration. Especially when that celebration involves green beer. Get ready, because Las Vegas is about to transform into a sea of green this weekend as our favorite Irish holiday descends upon the valley. So break out your favorite green apparel and get ready!

Irish Celebration Across Las Vegas

St. Patrick’s Day is three days away and so planning ahead is essential. Grab your best friends and head out on a bar tour for drink specials, sports games and the luck of the Irish.

It’s only tradition that on every St. Patty’s Day, you have to order the signature dish… What’s that? Corn beef and cabbage. Also, Irish sausage rolls just hit different and Stone Ground Mustard is the best. The ones that know, know.

A few fan-favorite Irish drinks to be on the look for include, Irish Car Bombs, Smithwick’s Ales, Carlsberg Lagers and Hoegaarden wheats. Of course, Irish Frogs are always a hit on St. Patick’s Day. Can’t beat Midouri and Irish cream.

It doesn’t matter if you’re in Downtown Las Vegas or slightly off the strip, there’s a place for everyone to enjoy a little Irish fun!

Bars You Need To Check Out

Dress code isn’t “required” but wearing green is probably recommended. A few of the hot spots we have hand picked with be hosting LIVE entertainment. Here are five places you should visit for St. Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas.

  • McMullan's Irish Pub

Address: 4650 W Tropicana Ave, Unit 110, Las Vegas, NV 89103

Ireland may be over 4,000 mile away from Las Vegas, but McMullan’s isn’t! Located across the street from The Orleans Hotel and Casino, McMullan’s has become a fan favorite Irish pub for locals all around the valley! The atmosphere is warm, cozy and welcoming. And their variety of Irish food and drinks is something that can make anyone a regular customer. This pub is also known for hosting really fun live entertainment and trivia nights!

  • Nine Fine Irishmen (New York-New York Casino)

Address: 3790 Las Vegas Blvd S Las Vegas, NV, 89109

If you’d rather take your partying ways to the Las Vegas strip, look no further than Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY. Like McMullan’s, you can enjoy live entertainment and enjoy many classic Irish dishes.

  • Crown & Anchor British Pub

Address: 1350 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119

I know what you’re thinking, “That’s British! Not Irish!” But don’t let that fool ya, C&A knows how to throw a proper party! Besides, they offer a huge selection of beers, including some Irish favorites! Plus, if you’re a fan of soccer, there isn’t a more fun place to watch a match in the entire city!

  • John Cutter Tavern and Al's Garage (11770 W Charleston Blvd)

Address: 11770 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, 89135

Located in Summerlin, near the end of Charleston, both John Cutter and Al’s Garage have been my personal St. Patty’s day spot for the last few years! They have the same owner, so both properties will be throwing a mixed party in their shared parking lot. St. Patty’s Day is on Sunday, but JC and Al’s are throwing their party a day early! “A day early is right on time” is their motto this year, featuring live music with The Wedge Brothers with Kelly Sheehan. Green beer, traditional Irish food, and live entertainment! If you see me there this Saturday, please say hi!
