Hello Ladies! Today is Monday, March 8th and it’s International Women’s Day! Women across the globe are being encouraged to “Choose To Challenge“. That’s the theme of this year’s festivities, encouraging people to “celebrate women’s achievement. Also, to raise awareness against bias and take action for equality”.

Did you know International Women’s Day began in Europe in 1911 and was recognized by the United Nations in 1975 and established in its current form in 2010?

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY LIVESTREAM

Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas is celebrating International Women’s Day with a special livestream event featuring local female performers and artists, all to benefit The Cupcake Girls, a local nonprofit supporting individuals affected by domestic violence, sex trafficking, and those working in the sex industry. The livestream will take place on Monday, March 8th at 5 PM and can be viewed on the Hard Rock’s Facebook page: https://facebook.com/hardrock or viewed for the entire month of March on the Hard Rock website.

During the livestream event, viewers can donate directly to The Cupcake Girls or purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win art featured in the show from the local female artists.
