Panic! At The Disco injected vibrant energy into the Las Vegas crowd during their show on Friday, Oct. 21 at T-Mobile Arena.

The band performed in their hometown, pushing a filled setlist that echoed off the arena walls during the entire show.

People danced and sang their favorite Panic! songs with many tunes having a cathartic effect on those who danced and belted out the lyrics.

The setlist was a great snapshot of the band’s discography with Brendon Urie ensuring to give proper homage to the Panic! anthems that propelled him on the charts such as “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” “This Is Gospel,” and “Girls/Girls/Boys.”

In the middle of the band’s set, Urie shifted and started singing songs from his most recent project, “Viva Las Vengeance,” which encapsulated the audience in an auditory exploration of new sounds, interesting time signatures and incredible vocal range from the band.

Brendon Urie sang from one octave to another, almost seamlessly transitioning from one key to the next. Many of the songs on “Viva Las Vengeance” are vocally demanding to say the least. The melodies often reflect a “Broadway and pop style” of music that we saw Urie slightly play around with during earlier projects such as”Death of a Bachelor” and “Emperor’s New Clothes.”

The Viva Las Vengeance part of the concert told a story that broke away from the separate set of Panic! At The Disco’s crowd-favorite songs. Urie took a chance by dedicating the main portion of the concert to an album that breaks away from the band’s pop-punk base sound. Urie’s vocals and transformative mindset when it comes to music were highlighted throughout his run-through of “Viva Las Vengeance.” The show felt complete and told the entire story of the band we all know and love: Panic! At The Disco.

The night was explosive, and the visuals were simply amazing. Bright lights danced across T-Mobile Arena with a shower of rainbow lasers being poured across the crowd during “Boys/Boys/Girls.”

The Panic! At The Disco concert was the epitome of a perfect show that stimulated the audiences’ eyes, ears and mind. The band will conclude its first leg of its tour in Chicago on Oct. 28. After this, the band will start the next chapter of its tour in Europe with the first show opening up in Vienna, Austria on Feb. 20. The band will play across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom.
