Brett Young had a spectacular, acoustic and intimate performance at the beautiful Legacy Club located inside of Circa Resort & Casino on Jan. 18.
The skyline of the Las Vegas strip was the backdrop to Brett’s performance. The set was different in comparison to his big-production shows that often fill theaters and stadiums. There was an element of rawness to this performance that only perpetuated his sheer talent.
Brett’s vocals filled the room as his gritty yet buttery voice bounced from the Legacy Club’s walls.
As he performed his set list, one of the best parts was Brett telling the audience what his favorite song was. He said that most people believe that his favorite song is, “In Case You Didn’t Know.” However, his favorite song is actually a ballad he wrote about his wife for his daughter called “Lady.”
As he performed the song, there was a special feeling that rushed throughout the crowd. People started swaying and dancing to the song. Couples started nestling with each other and singing along to “Lady.”
Brett Young – By Invitation Only, Special Show: It’s Now A Holiday
Along with the stellar performance from Young, another surprise awaited him before the show. The mayor’s office gifted him a once-in-a-lifetime proclamation that stated Jan. 18 as “Brett Young Day” in Las Vegas. We celebrated this special moment and a roar from the crowd cheered Young on as he accepted the gift.
After receiving his proclamation, the band started setting up and preparing for the performance.
