The incident isn’t an anomaly. Similar tales have peppered our own city of Las Vegas. Remember the naked man’s tussle with law enforcement, leading to an impromptu joyride in a cop car? According to a Fox 5 article, the individual was experiencing a mental breakdown during the event. Our country is grappling with a significant mental health crisis, and it’s a critical time to address these issues compassionately.
Details from Fox 5 reveal that Clyde Cabulisan was stopped twice by Metro police on October 31. Around 11 p.m., LVMPD communications received reports of “a naked man wandering in the street, seemingly trying to provoke vehicular collisions” at the intersection of Blue Diamond Rd. and Buffalo Rd. A marked patrol car in the vicinity encountered Cabulisan in the middle of the intersection, prompting an officer to activate emergency lights to protect the suspect from oncoming traffic.
