Taylor Swift's Country Albums Still Reign as Fan Favorites, Poll Shows
Taylor Swift's transition to pop music with her fifth album "1989" was a bold move, but it seems that her earlier country albums still have a strong hold on fans. In a recent poll, fans nationwide were asked to rate which of Taylor's ten albums they "like" or "love," and her second album "Fearless" and fourth album "Red" took the top spots with 61% of fans saying they still "like" or "love" them.
However, when fans were asked to choose their favorite album, her newer pop albums did slightly better. "Lover" took the top spot, followed by "1989," "Red," "Taylor Swift," and "Fearless."
When it comes to individual songs, Taylor's country roots once again proved to be the most popular. Her hit song "Love Story" took the top spot, followed by "Shake It Off," "Lover," "Anti-Hero," and "Blank Space."
Despite her success in the pop music world, it seems that Taylor's earlier country albums still hold a special place in the hearts of many fans. Whether they prefer her older or newer music, there's no denying that Taylor Swift has left an indelible mark on the music industry.

Taylor Swift’s 13 Finest Country Songs
Before Taylor Swift was an international superstar whose 2023 "Eras Tour" caused Ticket Master's website to shut down with high ticket demand selling out multiple nights at stadiums all over the country, she was a country star. She came to Nashville as a teenager and attended Hendersonville High School North of Nashville, writing songs about young love and loss. She won the CMA's Top honor of Entertainer of the Year in 2009 and again in 2011, the same year she won the ACM's Entertainer of the Year. Plainly put, she was country before she was a pop star.
Her early country songs started her road to history-making fame and fortune, and as she celebrates her 33rd birthday today (12/13), we celebrate the country songs that put her on the map in music.
