Man Crushed To Death By Urinal

A British man is dead after he was crushed by a urinal.

The incident happened Tuesday afternoon in London's Cambridge Circus section, where the man was working on a telescopic urinal -- which sits underground during the day and pops up for people to use at night, police say. As he was working below street level, the device malfunctioned and pinned him underground, leaving him seriously injured, according to rescue workers. It took "dozens" of firefighters nearly three hours to free him, says a spokesman for the London Fire Brigade.

Unfortunately, by then it was too late. A statement released by Scotland Yard reads, "We’re sorry to have to update that, despite the efforts of emergency services, the man who was critically injured in Cambridge Circus was pronounced dead at the scene."

Have you ever become stuck somewhere? How’d you get out?
