Jeff & Aimee are giving a Hats Off to strangers that helped a teacher in need!
Kim Thompson Sr. is a teacher and youth sports coach in Franconia, Virginia. Unfortunately, Thompson suffered two strokes and several seizures while watching sports with his son, according to Patch.com.
After enduring a medical scare, Thompson would get help from a family friend.
Mary-Kay Davidson launched a GoFundMe campaign to help Thompson and their family through a difficult time.
“Over the years, Kim has helped young people become successful in their journeys meeting life’s challenges,” says the GoFundMe page. “He has encouraged and supported countless youth and peers giving generously of his time and money.”
After over $47,000 dollars raised, Thompson and his family would receive the money and prayers from others in a big way!
On March 26th, doctors moved Thompson from the ICU to intermediate care status because he’s having a healthy and steady recovery!
