VIDEO: Chick-Fil-A Employee Gives Away Her Car She Won
Jeff & Aimee in the Morning are giving a Hats Off to a Chick-Fil-A employee!
Haley Bridges of Appleton, Wisconsin, gifted her new car to her friend and coworker Hokule’a Taniguchi. The seventeen-year-old won the car in a company raffle where employees receive raffle tickets after working a number of hours.
The reasoning behind the good gesture is that Bridges found out that nineteen-year-old Taniguchi would bike to work in the freezing Wisconsin winter, according to TODAY.
“Hoku told me that if anyone else in the group won it for her, it would be amazing but not the same. It’s crazy knowing that I was able to give my best friend a car,” said Bridges in an interview with TODAY.
However, gifting the car didn’t just end there. Bridges and her aunt held a fundraiser to pay off the car!
“At the same time she received the car, she got approved to get an apartment which is located closer to Chick-fil-A,” said Bridges. “It’s crazy seeing her car parked in the parking lot, and I’m glad that she has a reliable ride to work and the grocery store as well!”
