Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne is engaged to be married to her boyfriend Austin Moody. Jennifer shared several photos with Moody on Instagram on his birthday, December 30.
She wrote, “Happy birthday to the man I get to spend the rest of my life with!!! I love you @theaustinmoody. Can’t wait to celebrate the day with you.”
She then shared photos of when he got on one knee. Wayne posted, "What a way to end 2020! Thanks @zach.knudsen for capturing the moment and @nataliestovall for orchestrating the whole thing! Here’s to 2021!!"
A publicist confirms Wayne’s engagement, revealing the proposal happened outside of Nashville’s Ocean Way Studio. Bandmate Natalie Stovall assisted with the surprise proposal, telling Wayne to meet her at the studio for a recording session Dec. 28. When Wayne arrived, Moody was waiting outside and got down on one knee.
Wayne is the second member of Runaway June to announce her engagement. In mid-December, Naomi Cooke revealed her engagement to Boys Like Girls singer Martin Johnson.
