Lindsay Ell: ‘Remember To Take Time To Slow Down’

Lindsay Ell is passionate about her beliefs, even as voicing them has cost her some country music fans along the way.

Today (11/3), of course, is Election Day and tensions are running high, and last night Ell took to Instagram to share some thoughts. She wrote, “We are all feeling a lot right now. So much is going on in our world, in our hearts, in our minds… let us remember to take time to slow down. And know that slowing down is okay.”

She added, “In a year when the pace has felt a lot different than what a lot of us are used to….may we gain some added perspective and hopefully a reassessment in what’s important. And with tomorrow being a big day….may we remember that sharing our voice is one of the most important things we can do right now. #useyourvoice.”
