As Memorial Day approaches this weekend (5/25), Lady Antebellum has the perfect song from their Oceans album for families and loved ones in the military: "What I'm Leaving For."

When the trio first heard the demo for the song, Dave Haywood recalls, “Oh, it just wrecked me. I sent it to my brother-in-law who served a couple of tours in Afghanistan and he was like, ‘Oh my God.’”

While the song resonates with Lady Antebellum because they have spent so much time on the road, Heywood notes, “There are those that serve that really tour for a duration that’s way longer than we ever do. And so it resonates with that crowd, and I think it hit a lot of people in that way.”

Unfortunately, the trio will not be on the road touring this year as they recently canceled their 2020 "Oceans Tour."
