Runaway June have been working on some new music for the trio since Natalie Stovall has joined the group replacing Hannah Mulholland.

Naomi Cooke told us, "We're working on some really exciting things. But the Christmas album is the first order of business, which is going to start happening in the next couple of weeks. I think we have our first session in like two weeks, maybe less and we're still writing."

As for the writing, it's happening digitally. "We're doing Zoom sessions, which are so difficult in the beginning. But now it's kind of like, okay, I can get used to this if this is the new norm for a while, like this is what we've got to do to keep our community together. And so we're working on album number two for Runaway June."

The trio announced the addition of Natalie a week ago on Instagram.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
