Actor Kirk Douglas Donates $61 Million To Charity After Passing

Legendary actor Kirk Douglas passed away on February 5th, but before passing he decided to make one last legendary move.

$61 million of Douglas' fortune was donated to charities, according to the Daily Mirror.

Among the recipients was St. Lawrence University, which funds a scholarship for underprivileged minority students. Also, Westwood's Sinai Temple, which houses the Kirk and Anne Douglas Childhood Center.

Kirk Douglas passed away at 103. He was widely known for his 1960 film Spartacus. 

His son, Michael Douglas, continues his legacy in Hollywood.
