Less than a day after a mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, there has been another mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio.

The New York Times reports the shooting took place early Sunday in the city's Oregon entertainment district. The Dayton Police Department tweeted that ten people were killed, including the shooter, and 26 people were injured. Police killed the shooter -- who was wearing body armor -- less than a minute after the attack began.

According to CNN, the shooter has not yet been identified and no officers were injured apprehending him.

“As bad as this is, it could have been much, much worse,” Lt. Col. Matt Carper, an assistant police chief, told reporters, according to the New York Times.
