Tim McGraw was making the press rounds before he performed on today’s Tailgate Party in Atlanta just before Super Bowl 53 and he talked to Razz at WXTU in Philadelphia.

Tim recalled his favorite time at a Super Bowl back in 2000 when The Tennessee Titans were in the big game and his wife was on the bill. He shared, “I tell you the best time we’ve had is when the Titans went to the Super Bowl and Faith (Hill) sang the National Anthem which was really killer.”

The Tennessee Titans played the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl 34 in Atlanta in 2000 when Faith Hill sang the National Anthem. The Rams won 23-16.

While McGraw played before today’s Super Bowl, he’s not so sure he will ever do the half-time show. He told Razz, “I’ve never been offered the half time performance, but gosh, the half-time I’d love to do it but I don’t know if my music would translate to that big of an audience.”

Tim performed his brand new single “Thought About You” on today’s show. The song will be released to radio on Monday (2/4).
