Thomas Rhett Has Bigger Plans Than Music
Thomas Rhett has built a pretty spectacular career for himself, but his eyes are on bigger and more important things.
Thomas, who recently released a third studio album called Life Changes, intends to use his success for the greater good. “Using my platform for things other than just singing, I think is why I’m here in the first place,” the “Unforgettable” singer says through his record label. “I mean obviously, we’ve got to get out there on stage and do what we do, and write songs and entertain people. But I do think there is a way bigger calling and reason that I am in the place that I am, and same with my wife.”
One way the pair is doing this can be seen in their partnership with DIFF Eyewear. Thomas’ wife Lauren has designed a line of sunglasses for the company, which in turn is donating $100,000 to 147 Million Orphans, one of the couple’s favorite charities. “I’m so proud and so inspired by my wife and the kind, selfless person she is,” Thomas noted recently on Instsgram.
