Ford took on the hosting reigns this week alongside Lady A for her first week on the nationally syndicated country music program, Backstae Country. Following an introduction by Scott Borchetta, founder of Big Machine Label Group, Ford expressed her gratitude and excitement to the crown in her new role.
“I’m thrilled to join Backstage Country and humbled to be co-hosting alongside Country music’s biggest stars. I’m incredibly grateful to Key Networks and Beasley Media Group for entrusting me with this incredible platform that creates a space where artists can open up and share their journeys with fans in a whole new way. I can’t wait to dive into their stories, and our shared love of country music. Get ready for insider access to never-before-told stories, lots of laughter, and lots of fun! Plus, kicking this off with Lady A? Talk about a dream debut! Let’s gooooooooo!! The backstage door is wide open,” Ford said.
Fans can tune in all week long as Charles Kelly, Hillary Scott, and Dave Haywood of Lady A discuss everything from their early days in Nashville, the first show they ever played in Music City, their philanthropic efforts with The LadyAid Fund, and so much more.
Although they did not perform during the event, there were plenty of special guests in the audience on Wednesday night. Big Machine artists Brett Young, Brian Kelley, Jackson Dean, Conner Smith, Mackenzie Carpenter, Chase McDaniel, Greylan James, and Shane Profit were also in attendance.
