Carrie Underwood enjoyed a fun girls' trip to Destin, Florida, this week and posted all about it, including getting a tattoo on her arm along with three of her friends.
Carrie posted photos to Instagram of them hanging out on the beach, posing for photos in dresses, and getting inked at a tattoo parlor, "Sisters…not by blood…but sisters nonetheless. God truly showed us great favor by putting us all together. These ladies are strong, kind, and faithful, and I'm so happy I get to do life with them!!! It's true that you don't get to choose your family, but if I could, I would choose these exact three women to be my sisters-in-law!"
She added, "From the beach to the tattoo parlor, Destin didn't know what hit it! I love you, ladies!!! #family #blessed #SistersInLaw."
Many fans responded to the post, including one who wrote, "Beautiful girls! Memories made!" Another fan commented, "You only need a few!! Good for you!! Come to Fairhope, Al next time… dreamy coastal hippie town."

Tonight (5/11), Carrie is a nominee in the ACM's Entertainer of the Year category . She has won the ETOTY award from the ACM three times; in 2019, 2008, and 2009.
Underwood said of getting a nod for the night's biggest honor, "It is, I mean, obviously such an honor to be nominated for Entertainer of the Year. Obviously, that's such a tough category to be in; 'cause there's just so, I don't even want to call it a competition, there are just so many hard-working artists out there. They are pouring themselves and their time and their energy and their love and their artistry into what they do."
She added, "Just to even be in the final category is just absolutely amazing, and hopefully, above all, we can all just remember that it's a celebration of a great year in country music. And in our careers as artists, so we'll just see what happens, but definitely excited to be in that category."
The 2023 ACM Awards will air live on Amazon Prime at 7 PM ET.
As we gear up for the 58th Annual ACM Awards tonight (5/11), our minds are on who will win the top award of the night, Entertainer of the Year. This year (2023), there are seven nominees for the top honor, including Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, and two women, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood.
The show will play out live in Allen, Texas, and it could be a big night for native Texan Miranda, a top nominee with nods for Album of the Year (Palamino), Female Artist, and Singer/ Songwriter of the Year.
Lambert is just one of a handful of women who have won the coveted Entertainer of the Year award. Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, and Taylor Swift have also won the award.
