Luke Combs and his wife Nicole already had a big awards night dinner at last night's BMI Awards in Nashville, where his song "Forever After All" won Song of the Year honors. Combs co-wrote the song with Drew Parker and Rob Williford.
Luke posted to his Insta stories a photo of himself and Nicole after his win. He wrote on the photo, "Hell of a night @bmi @nicolecombs."
Nicole also took to her Instagram this morning (11/9) to share some photos of last night, including the couple dressed up, her outfit details, the night's BMI menu, and a red solo cup honoring Toby Keith as a 2022 Icon. She captioned the pictures, "Little bit of last night @ BMI (blue emoji heart)."
Several fans responded to her post, including one who wrote, "THIS DRESS WAS MADE FOR YOU." Another fan commented, "Stunning couple." One more fan said, "Love your style!"
Combs wrote "Forever After All" about his love for his then-fiance Nicole. The song's music video used footage from their wedding in 2020.
The BMI Country Music Awards, held at BMI's Nashville headquarters, is a ceremony to venerate the year's 50 most-performed songs and the songwriters and music publishers behind them.
Last night's (11/8) event was attended by a number of country stars, including Ashley McBryde, Kelsea Ballerini, Priscilla Block, Kane Brown, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, HARDY, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Dustin Lynch, Jake Owen, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban.
Other top BMI winners included Hardy, who won BMI's Songwriter of the Year, and Toby Keith, who was honored with the BMI Icon Awards.
Several country stars posted about the evening, including Elle King, who shared several images of herself and friends at the event. She wrote, "Tonight we celebrated some monumental stuff. Thank you to everyone who took a chance on me. Forever humbled & grateful. Proud to be a part of the @bmi FAMILY. THANK YOU, @thenightgame, for helping me write songs that changed my life. Much to congrats to everyone. Thank you, @mirandalambert, for seeing something in me. Hope you all celebrate Tonight. You deserve it.
Luke Combs is getting ready to release his latest album, Growing Old, later this month (3/24), and then he kicks off his world tour, which will play stadiums all over the world. That is not bad for a guy who studied criminal justice in college just over ten years ago.
As his country star continues to rise, Luke became a new dad in July of last year (2022) and has been busy helping out his wife Nicole take care of his son Tex. He also performed as a multiple nominee at the Grammy Awards show in February (2/5).
Combs celebrates his 33rd birthday today (3/2), and to honor him; we rank his 16 biggest and best songs.
