Wynonna Judd Mentors Younger Artists by Telling Them What NOT To Do
Wynonna Judd takes her role as a mentor in country music seriously.
While she takes her role seriously, she does not feel comfortable telling the younger singers what to do so she takes a different approach.
She tells them what not to do.
Wynonna says, I don't give advice. I tell them what I do and what I don't do.
Wynonna can relate to the position that Kelsea Ballerini is in-promoting an album and going through a divorce.
She said she has shared her story with Kelsea.
I think that is what we are supposed to do, tell our stories... give them our story and we learn from our mistakes and unhealthy choices. I tell Kelsea, 'this is what I did when I got divorce and it didn't work.'
What is the best and worst advice a mentor has given you?
