Yes, you read that right. The "I Want Crazy" singer has teamed with Zappos to launch "The Rescue Collection," a limited edition shoe line inspired by his single "Rescue." There are two designs available and each order includes a signed copy of the song's hand-written lyric sheet. More importantly, though, 100% of the net proceeds go to the North Shore Animal League America. The organization is a big time supporter of music education.
Hunter, of course, is pretty pumped about the whole thing. "We're very excited and grateful to see this idea we had earlier this year come to life and have the potential to help so many people," he says through his publicist. "I am a firm believer in the power music has to help people and it's been incredibly uplifted to see how many people 'Rescue' has reached. The launch of the shoe collection furthers our mission and I am excited to see the positive impact."
Check out "Rescue," not to mention more Hunter Hayes tunes here.
