It was a fun time at Coyote Country‘s performing vault!
Jackson Dean, an up-and-coming country singer signed to Big Machine Label Group, gave us an amazing performance that showcased his raw talent and skills. His songs were powerful yet simultaneously intimate, and he was accompanied with only his voice and acoustic guitar.
The Maryland native, who moved to Nashville to pursue his musical career, has a “gritty” style of country that is reflective of his life and experiences. His songs inject a sense of adventure into the listener.
His road to becoming a full–time artist started off when a tragic event occurred. Dean said he picked up the guitar after his family‘s house burnt to the ground. While they were rebuilding, his family lived in the garage. He often spent time playing the guitar, letting the sound bounce off the walls and passing time, he said.
Fast forward to today and Dean is now becoming a major player in the world of country music. This last year was a big one for the singer, who became signed to a major label. He plans to get out on the road, play festivals and keep making music.
We’re looking forward to seeing more of Dean, and we’re definitely keeping an eye out for any new music he releases!
