‘Doctor Strange’ Had A Line Sweeter Than ‘Endgame’s ‘I Love You 3000’

Of all the epic moments in 2019's Avengers: Endgame, one of the sweetest was a quiet one, when young Morgan Stark (Lexi Rabe) tells her dad Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), "I love you 3000." Later in the film, he says it back to her. The classic line has already been immortalized on t-shirts.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness had its own great line (which we can tell you about without spoiling anything about the very spoiler-filled movie): Benedict Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange says this to his on-and-off girlfriend, Rachel McAdams' Dr. Christine Palmer. We first met Dr. Palmer in the first Dr. Strange back in 2016, and again in an episode of last year's animated What If...? series. As we see in the film's trailer, Strange attends Palmer's wedding, and he's obviously a bit heartbroken. Later, he meets a variant version of her and says it: "I love you in every universe," a line which must have made thousands of full theaters swoon over the weekend.

Among many other moments in the film (most of which contain spoilers), it lit up Twitter. Here are some reactions to the soon-to-be-immortal line.
