Ways To Spend Money In Las Vegas: Jackpots Make $1,000 In Las Vegas Laughable

Sometimes, spending money in Las Vegas can actually make you rich — if you hit a jackpot, of course.

In February of this year, a player won exactly $1,208,521 after “hitting a massive Mega Progressive jackpot on pai gow poker,” the Las Vegas Review-Journal states.

The jackpot was hit on Feb. 28 around 3 a.m. at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino, the Review-Journal further reported.

Another great jackpot recently happened during Easter Weekend. You could say this was a “blessing.”

According to Fox 5, a Hawaiian visitor placed a $10 bet on the IGT’s Wheel of Fortune machine. The player was playing at the California Hotel & Casino when they won $1,172,262.

And in another rare instant last month, there were two million-dollar hits that happened inside of the high-limit gaming lounge in The Palazzo. This room opened last October, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

During the same week, two players won just over a million dollars. One player won $1,037,828 while playing the Dragon Link slot machine. Another player — just one day later — won $1,635,693 on a Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Gold machine, the Review-Journal said.

  • Get The $1,000 Infamous Wagyu Tomahawk From Papi Steak

Yes. This steak costs $1,000. But why? Well first off, this steak presentation is supposedly inspired by “Pulp Fiction.” So, that elevates the “cool” factor of this steak. The steak is a homage to the luxurious bottle shows that are seen in many clubs in Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, etc. The steak is presented in a temperature-control gold box, according to the Miami Herald.

The steak is brought out with a plethora of waitresses, waiters, etc. who also hold flashing lights that turns this fine-dining experience into a high-energy club. Many videos across different social media platforms show this experience of people getting showered in flashing lights and chants from the staff while a waiter “brands” the steak. What’s the purpose of this? Well, we’re not exactly sure. But, it makes for a nice photo opportunity!

The steak that is plated is a MS9+ Australian Purebred Wagyu Tomahawk. According to the Meatery, Australian wagyu is about 93.75% Wagyu genetics or higher. So, it’s a tasty treat and will probably melt in your mouth. Bottle service is 2021 anyways.

Qua Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas is one of many luxury day spas on the strip where you can purchase a pass for a relaxing visit, massage or facial treatment. This spa was beautiful and large but did not offer co-ed space and seemed lacking on customer service in general. Far from a bad experience, this was fine if its convenient and you’re a frequent spa guest. If you plan to have one luxury spa experience in Vegas, there are better options. #vegas #lasvegas #vegasstarfish #quaspa #caesarspalace #vegasspa #luxuryspa #spaexperience #vegasexperience #luxurytravel #vegaslocal #vegasstrip #thingstodoinvegas

What is Omakase, you may ask? Omakase is a Japanese way of being served. Omakase quite literally means, “I leave it up to you,” according to Sushi Umi’s website. Essentially, a chef curates a coursed-out menu for you, and it’s an intimate dining experience that takes you on a culinary adventure. The chef creates the menu and usually explains their inspiration for the dish.

Along with being an experience, it’s also usually expensive with may omakase dinners ranging between $150 and up. In Las Vegas, one of the most famous spots for this type of dining is Kame Omakase.

The signature omakase will cost you $500 per person and the premium option is $350. There are two time slots available each night, and it’s between the time of 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., according to the restaurant’s website.

Omakase dinners usually serve fresh sashimi, expensive cuts of meat and fish such as controversial blue fin tuna, high-quality sea urchins, sweet shrimp and more. It’s the type of dinner that you never forget.
